When we started EQ in 2003, David and I were two completely broke 21 year old kids with big dreams and absolutely no idea how to achieve them. Within our first year, we had our first ‘big job’… EQ Graphics was selected to design ads for the IALHA Magazine (The International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association). While we ‘seemed’ competent, we in fact had to learn about ‘bleeds, gutters and print safe margins’ on the job, but my personal experience and knowledge of Iberian horses is what sealed the deal. It was definitely a stressful, but rewarding introduction to print design. Since then, we’ve worked with dozens of Andalusian and Lusitano businesses from around the world and Andalusian horse logos are among my favorite to design.
