Stunning Racehorse Silhouette Logo Example | 100% Custom Art

Rebel Stables is a product of a Texas family’s love for homegrown Thoroughbred racehorses through the generations. Owner Daniel Bates is on a mission to continue his grandfather’s legacy of breeding and training Texas Thoroughbreds that can win at the largest United States racing venues, while preserving the fun and excitement of the sport.

The custom logo we created for Rebel Stables is powerful and masculine, the focal point being a line art racehorse silhouette thundering down the home stretch. Although the design is rendered in our classic vector style, you can see the determination in the Thoroughbred’s eye within his racing blinders as he holds off his opponents. With his ears pinned back and mane streaming in the wind, it’s easy to imagine the pounding of hooves and the crowd’s cheers from the grandstands.

Our artists added the business name in a bold, classic serif font with a slight color gradient reminiscent of jockey’s silks. This stunning hand drawn logo will make a visual impact when used on business cards, the back of racing silks, saddle blankets, stall guards, and more.

Masculine Horse Racing Logo Design For Texas Thoroughbred Facility

Racehorse Silhouette Logo Design Created for Horse Racing Family Business

Daniel Bates’ inspiration behind his Texas Thoroughbred breeding and training farm, Rebel Stables, was his grandfather, Charlie Bates. Active in the Thoroughbred breeding industry from the 50’s to the 80’s, Charlie allowed Daniel to participate in all aspects of the business as a child-from feeding all the way up to race day routines.

Pari-mutuel wagering was prohibited in Texas through the late 1900’s, so the family’s horses raced primarily on Texas brush tracks or sent to other states and Mexico to race. Daniel’s grandfather Charlie was naturally an avid supporter of bringing pari-mutuel wagering to the state of Texas, but he unfortunately passed away prior to the opening of Sam Houston Race Park.

Today, Daniel continues the legacy of his family’s love of horse racing through his Texas breeding and training facility. In fact, the first horse purchased by the facility, Easy So Easy, was a product of Charlie Bates’ breeding program.

Rebel Stables is an impressive facility that offers the finest amenities to their own racehorses and horses there for boarding and training. A state of the art barn, luxurious pastures and paddocks, and a half mile training track allow for the breeding, starting, and conditioning of their own horses as well as clients’, and also affords the opportunity for layups for injured horses.

Hand Drawn Racehorse Silhouette Logo for Texas Racehorse Breeder and Trainer

The sport of horse racing has certainly had its up’s and down’s in the state of Texas. Horse racing at places like the State Fair of Dallas and Arlington Downs was wildly popular in the early 1900’s, until pari-mutuel wagering became illegal in 1937. The Texas racing industry battled this challenge for 50 years. The allure of horse racing was somewhat dampened for spectators in the absence of gambling. In 1987 the industry finally found some relief when pari-mutuel wagering once again became legal.

In 2004, Lone Star Park hosted the prestigious Breeders’ Cup World Thoroughbred Championships, the first time the event had ever been held at a track in the southwest. Sam Houston Race Park also hosted the elite Quarter Horse racing event, the MBNA America Challenge Championships.

Today, the Texas Horse Racing Hall of Fame continues to recognize the rich history of the horses and horsemen that have graced the Texas horse racing industry.

Custom Line Art Racehorse Silhouette Logo for Thoroughbred Breeding & Training Facility

Our artists and the client alike had a vision of a masculine line art racehorse silhouette logo for Rebel Stables’ branding. We wanted to acknowledge the rich family history of this horse racing facility and the bond it fostered between the men of the Bates family. We created the line art image of a race horse head silhouette that contains exquisite detail.

The muscles in theracehorse silhouette horse’s neck echo his effort, and the look of dogged determination in his eye speaks of an athlete that is determined to win at any cost. Laid back ears and the horse’s mane streaming in the wind as he gallops gives the illusion of movement and adds to the realism of the vector style design.

After perusing a variety of fonts and colors, we settled on a bold serif font for the company name in a gradient coloring that brings to mind the sheen of jockey’s silks at the track. The custom racehorse silhouette logo is minimalist yet strikingly powerful in its simplicity.
